Any way to switch from Controller A to B? ~Can't play Shenmue~

It's quite a big deal for me, i can't play Shenmue properly due sudden connection losses of Controller A (ps3 controller) (forces me to restart NULLdc.. wich results in losing progress)

I was wondering if i could switch it to controller B (Keyboard in my case) whenever that happens while running the game.

Hope there is an answer so i can finally enjoy this game!
